Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving industrial sales growth? Join Pyrotek — a global leader in high-performance materials for industrial applications — as an Inside Sales Representative in our Foundry Sales team.
This is your chance to build lasting relationships, work closely with customers in the aluminum and foundry industries, and contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment.
Location: We’re excited to be relocating our offices to the greater Fort Wayne area to better serve our team and community.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll take ownership of general/house accounts and help grow new business by:
- 🤝 Building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- 📞 Responding to inbound sales calls and inquiries.
- 📊 Preparing accurate and timely quotes based on technical specs and customer needs.
- 🚀 Driving growth by identifying upsell opportunities and prospecting new accounts.
- 🧠 Applying technical knowledge to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- Associate degree (technical discipline preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales or engineering support, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Familiarity with the aluminum or foundry industries is a plus
- Comfort with technical drawings, measurements, and calculations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM systems
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 20% (by car)

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Working Environment
While performing the essential responsibilities of this position, team member will work in both an office and manufacturing environment. While in manufacturing areas, team member may also be exposed to moderate background noise, moderate amounts of airborne dust, presence of natural and artificial light, exposure to work temperatures from ambient to controlled, hard surfaces for standing and walking. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as approved footwear, safety glasses/goggles, respirators, etc., may be required.
