Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position performs a variety of tasks which includes transport of materials, cleaning, cutting, and boxing of products.  Assists regular operators in the performance of their operations when required.  Available for general clean-up duties.

Shift: 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am *This is a rotating 12-hour schedule* 

Pay Range starting at $20/hourly. 7% shift differential is also offered.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Support production operations by:
    • Maintaining a neat and orderly work area.
    •  Accurately and legibly complete all work orders and documentation logs  as required.  
    • Promptly report all maintenance and/or safety needs to the appropriate party in a timely manner.
    • Efficiently and effectively perform routine tasks such as cleaning, cutting, boxing stock and loading/unloading of capsules.
    • Use hoist, slings, fork trucks to safely and efficiently move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
    • Using a pen or provided labels accurately and appropriately label raw materials and finished goods used in the department.
    • As assigned by supervisor promptly assist regular operators with day-to-day manufacturing tasks.

 High school or equivalent preferred, manufacturing, or industrial experience is a plus.

Job Specific Skills.  Ability to safely and proficiently use a variety of hand and power tools, such as drills, hammer, sanders, blenders, mixers, tape measure, etc.  Ability to safely handle material manually or using equipment such as hoist, slings, cranes, fork trucks, etc. Ability to be certified and operate a forklift proficiently and safely.  Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations including Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations including adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division.

Must be able to stand for long periods-of-time, bend, and reach, lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and 65 pounds occasionally and communicate effectively in English by telephone, in person, and in writing. Effectively use any office equipment and telephone.

Working Environment

While performing the essential responsibilities of this position, team member will work in a manufacturing environment. While in manufacturing areas, the team member may also be exposed to moderate background noise, moderate amounts of airborne graphite dust, presence of natural and artificial light, exposure to work temperatures from ambient to controlled, hard surfaces for standing and walking. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
