Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Provide clerical and administrative support for a variety of tasks and projects within the accounting department.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Qualifications

Must Haves:  High School Diploma, plus 1 (one) year of related clerical/administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience with accounts payable a plus.  

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  1. Perform clerical duties that involve accurate typing and preparing and maintaining sensitive accounting documents and records.
  2. Review expense receipts for amount, validity, and approval while serving as backup for accounts payable processing of vendor invoices.
  3. Assist with customer invoice preparation in the accounts receivable department.   
  4. Accurately enter key financial transaction data into the accounting database on a daily basis.
  5. Research, track and resolve accounting or documentation issues and discrepancies.
  6. Ensure all invoices are properly recorded and processed within timelines.
  7. Provide administrative and clerical assistance to the accounting department team members.
  8. Promote positive employee and customer relations by supporting Pyrotek’s commitment to a working environment of tolerance, acceptance and civility.  Respond appropriately to inquiries, concerns and complaints by being professional, courteous and respectful at all times.
  9. Maintain regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance, as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.
  10. Actively and positively participate in problem resolution, demonstrating constructive communication, timely response and effective resolution skills.  Work effectively within team environments both within your department and across the organization.
