Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administer a wide range of systems and applications including, but not limited to, in-house on-premise/private cloud systems and applications, systems and applications in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) environments.

Computer/Applications Skills.  Working technical knowledge of systems and application including Windows Server 2008 or higher, Windows 10, TCP/IP Networking, LDAP and other commonly used protocols in the Microsoft stack. Extensive application support experience with messaging systems and mail gateways; Exchange Online and Mimecast.  Extensive application support experience with mobile platforms including the MobileIron management system. Technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and identity applications. Extensive hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.  Experience with data management. Ability to document configuration and process information.  Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

Qualifications

Must Haves:  Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science plus five (5) years of experience. Certifications in Windows Server, O365, Cisco, etc., are a plus.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  1. Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and department managers.
  2. Coordinate with server, network, security and other Pyrotek teams in to implement and manage Pyrotek systems and applications to meet business objectives.
  3. Deploy a wide range of systems and applications, such as e-mail, security related systems, BPC, SSRS, ServicePro, and other enterprise applications.
  4. Manage end-user enterprise software applications.
  5. Manage communications such as E-Mail (Exchange Online), Mimecast and other messaging type applications.
  6. Manage various components within O365 such as Azure AD, OneDrive, Security and Compliance, etc.
  7. Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data on systems and applications in accordance to Pyrotek policies and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  8. Manage peripherals including printers and scanners.
  9. Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on servers, workstations and peripherals. Escalate incidents Global IT Manager, as necessary.
  10. Practice asset management, including maintenance of inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
  11. Support application development teams throughout project lifecycles.
  12. Analyze system, server, application and other device performance.
  13. Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, re-configurations, and/or purchases.
  14. Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.
  15. Create required reports in response to business user needs.
  16. Participate in negotiations with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure software products and services.
  17. Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.
  18. Maintain regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance, as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.
