Overview

In container glass manufacturing, shearing and loading are the final two steps before the molten glass is formed. Shearing occurs after molten glass is forced through the orifice ring at the bottom of the spout and is cut with shear blades to form a gob. The gob is then loaded into the individual section machine via a loading funnel.
