Overview

Sampling spoons are hand-held tools used to collect small amounts of liquid metal in order to test for impurities and alloy content.

Sampling spoons come in a variety of materials. They can be manufactured with stainless steel, mild steel, cast iron, refractory, ceramic fibre and Pyrotek's patented reinforced fibreglass material (RFM^®) depending on the specific application needs. Both standard and custom shapes are available.
