Induction furnaces, whether coreless or channel, use electricity to melt metal. They are commonly used in the foundry and provide a clean, energy-efficient melting process. They have excellent recovery results when melting light-gauge material, such as chips or turnings. Increasing the amount of aluminium that can be melted is key.

Pyrotek focuses on improving furnace efficiency and reducing energy costs through a number of solutions, including electromagnetic circulation pumps, electromagnetic stirrers, mechanical pumps, LOTUSS scrap melting system, flux and flux-injection equipment for dross maintenance, furnace tools, engineering services, thermocouples, moulds, refractory lining, insulation, heated troughs and gaskets and seals.

  • Energy savings through improved bath circulation, better furnace practices, proper maintenance and improved refractory and insulation packages.
  • Reduced consumable costs due to longer component life and reduced maintenance requirements.
