Manufacture precast shapes, furnace demolition and refractory installation.



High school diploma or GED.

Valid driver’s license. Experience working with concrete a plus.

Communication Skills. Ability to write basic notes. Ability to discuss job related information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to understand when there is a problem and report it to their lead in a timely manner

Core Business Skills. Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, short notes and memos. Ability to read and interpret information such as safety rules, work standards, work instructions and work orders. Ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion in handling of proprietary and confidential information. Strong critical thinking skills, judgment and keen attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide figures to include fractions and decimals.

Flexibility/Travel. Ability to potentially travel domestically up to 30% primarily within the US. Valid US Passport or ability to obtain.


1. Following standard operation procedures, mix, pour and vibrate refractory concrete into forms and molds.

2. Install plastic refractory material using pneumatic ramming hammers and refractory gunnite material using Reed Guns.

3. Accurately set up precast molds.

4. Ensure both internal and outside customer demands are met in a timely manner.

5. Maintain physical condition and cleanliness of work area.

6. Ensure proper use of equipment and required PPE is worn at all times.

7. Promote positive employee and customer relations by supporting Pyrotek’s commitment to a working environment of tolerance, acceptance and civility. Respond appropriately to inquiries, concerns and complaints by being professional, courteous and respectful at all times.

8. Maintain regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance, as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.

13. Perform other tasks as assigned.
