Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Do you want to work Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm?  If you have a knack for numbers, enjoy a warehouse environment, and enjoy solving problems, this is the job for you!  

Our Inventory Control Coordinator is hands-on attention to inventory to ensure organization, consolidate and accuracy of inventory through regular monitoring and cycle counts.  The incumbent will identify issues with errors in counts, deficiencies or surpluses of stock and assist Supervisor by working towards resolution with, Purchasing and Manufacturing Supervisors.

Qualifications

Must Haves:  High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)/Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC); plus a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in inventory control/warehouse or equivalent combination of education and experiences.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Core People Skills.  Ability to apply a large measure of common sense to a variety of situations. Ability to input data into inventory control systems.

Computer/Applications Skills. Proficient computer skills using a variety of software applications systems.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) for manufacturing software, preferably Infor Visual. 

Core Business Skills. Ability to work independently, without significant direction and to use resources effectively to “figure it out”.  Exceptional prioritization, time management and organizational skills.  Ability to perform cycle counts.  Ability to use RF Bar Code Scanner.  Ability to use hoists and various hand and power tools.  Ability to obtain licensing/certification to operate forklift.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel material. Hard work surfaces for standing and walking.  Ability to lift-up to 75 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently.  Must be able to communicate effectively in English by telephone, in person and in writing.  Effectively use a personal computer.  Must be able to visually identify different products through size, shape and identification labels.

Working Environment
Works in a manufacturing environment where team member is frequently exposed to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne graphite dust.  PPE is be required.
